Day Forty Five: February 14
For Valentine’s Day, Oma and Opa in Pennsylvania gave M a number of gifts, including this large 2′ x 3′ puzzle. M adores it, and even more than that, adores the sense of accomplishment that comes with finishing a puzzle. When the last piece fell into place, she clapped and cheered for herself “I did it!!” which was endearing, until she continued “I’m so clever!”. Hmmmm, time to teach modesty.
